The largest on-line Lao oral history digital archive. With hours of edited footage, this archive is an important research asset for scholars. Major themes include: life in Laos, the refugee camp experience, exodus, and acculturation in the United States. Funded by the California Council for the Humanities.
Legacies of War Multi-media Interactive Center (MIC)DIRECTOR/CREATOR (2007-2009). An interactive virtual village that educates audiences about the secret bombing of Laos between 1965 and 1974. Funded by the Ford Foundation. Principal collaborators included an Oscar ®-nominated co-director and an award-winning documentarian.
Sieow (Buddy) Talk EXECUTIVE PRODUCER/EDITOR (2004-2006).Variety mini-series that featured prominent Lao and Thai actors/singers. Aired on Lao Satellite TV (Lao Broadcast Channel).
The Rhythm of Elder Treasures DIRECTOR/PRODUCER (2001-2003). A documentary that revealed how Southeast Asians in California's Central Valley are trying to save their traditional music. Aired on PBS. Funded by The Texaco Foundation.
